The Village Child Development Center

We are now accepting applications for our newest location in the lower village, right next to the Village Center.

 

 

Center Framework

We believe movement and dramatic play is essential to learning and development.  We take pride in our ability to apply an inquiry based learning structure to promote language, physical development and curiosity. 

Basic Framework.  We respect each child's routine and attempt to mimic the home routine to avoid confusion and family time disruption.


7:30-8:30 Greetings and free play
8:30-9 Center time
9:00-9:30 Diaper check
9:30-10 Snack
10:00-10:30 Circle time/ stories and songs
10:30-11:30 Outside time
11:30- 12 Hand washing and clean-up
12:00-12:30 Lunch
12:30-12:45 Diaper check
12:45-2:45 Nap/ quiet time
2:45-3 Diaper check
3:00-3:30 Snack
3:30-4:30 Outside play
4:30-5 Diaper check
5:00-5:30 Center time


Beth Gachowski - Center Director

Miss Beth has her B.S. in Speech Pathology from Boston University and her M.A. in Education from San Francisco State University.  She has most recently been a lead teacher at the University of New Hampshire Child Study and Development Center.  She was formerly the Executive Director of The Children's Center in Portland.  Miss Beth has led early childhood workshops locally, nationally and even internationally!  

Miss Beth enjoys sharing her passion for reading, yoga and music with young children.  Her many years of experience and wealth of knowledge on early childhood topics make her a great resource to families. 

She lives in Arundel with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

We are so fortunate and proud to have Miss Beth lead the Village Child Development Center for us!

Full Day Care / Full Week $320

Occasional Care $70/Day

Two and Three Day week options are available.  Call for availability.

Two week deposit is required to hold spots.
